Today we started working on a descriptive writing piece about an animal from Alberta. All of the hard work we have done this term on developing our skills was evident not only in our writing stamina (we wrote for 45 minutes!!) and in the details we are including in our writing. For example:

-  "As I walk on the moss I feel the soft and scratchiness." TA
- "All the beautiful landforms are my home, but I mainly sit on a tree looking for my prey." KS
- "On the mountain the Bow River streams downhill from the Bow Glacier." NH
- "Weasels kill prey up to half their own body length."KM

In Math we worked on solving equations with missing numbers. We discussed how using our knowledge of fact families could help us solve these. For example, ___ + 45 = 345 could also be 345-45 = ___ .

Reminders:
We play outside every day. Please send appropriate clothing for us to have fun in the snow. Also we MUST have both indoor and outdoor footwear for our day at school.
