Today we showed support for survivors and those affected by residential schools by wearing orange shirts. We watched a story called Shi-Shi-etko, about a girl preparing to leave for a residential school with her family. We reviewed the information gathered in our 'Types of Waste' homework. Some observations we had were:

- mouldy bagel were composted
- glass pickle jars were recycled
- banana peels were composted
- gecko and cricket waste went in the garbage
- spaghetti package went in recycling
- cutlery went in recycling
- plastic in recycling
- food wrappers in garbage
- tin cans were recycled
- glue bottle was recycled
- diapers were garbage
- Penzoil was garbage
- Costco muffins were composted
- more writing on some sheets
- some estimates were a lot higher than others
- yard waste and old flowers were composted
- clorox wipes went in the garbage
- some people had more garbage than other people
- tiny beads were put in the garbage
