What a wintry day we had today! This was a good reminder to all of us to plan for any weather here in Calgary. Families please send appropriate outdoor clothing of us to spend time outside.

In Math today we worked on extending 2 column t-tables and creating 3 column ones. We have been working on using charts to help us solve problems too. Next week we will be moving on to looking at place value and working with numbers up to 10 000.

We continued working on science research group projects related to Waste in Our World this afternoon. Students have been asking how to access these at home. They can use the same login for GoogleDocs as they use at school, but please remember these are group projects and the whole group will be working collaboratively to create the slideshow to teach the class about what they have learned.

Our day ended with PE and Ms. Nanavaty teaching us some traditional indigenous games. Ask your child which one was their favourite!
