Happy Thursday!

Today we started our day reflecting on our science work from yesterday and on how we worked collaboratively with our groups.

Then we spent some time working with our storyboards and practiced retelling our stories. We started working on a written retell of our stories.  Many students were challenging themselves to use words they haven't used in their writing before including: glorious, plunged, exclaimed, gorgeous, disaster, ferocious, and evacuated.

This afternoon we learned about Chief Keenoosayo and the role of the Chief in first nations tribes. We met with Mr. Stockton and practiced overcoming the "whoosh." To end the day we did some cup stacking in PE.

Thank you to those of you who ordered pizza lunch - lots of happy kids in the lunchroom today :)

Reminders:
- No school next Friday
- Materials needed for an upcoming Science project
- Social Studies homework due tomorrow
