Today we were a little disappointed that Mr. Stockton cancelled his visit, but we were so busy our day flew by anyways!
This morning we worked on editing dialogue sentences for proper punctuation. We learned about the special rule where we don't have to capitalize the next letter after a period if there is a quotation mark and about "tagging" the speaker. When you are reading with us at home please try to focus on the dialogue, what do you notice?
In Math today we began talking about 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication. We were introduced to the box/rectangle strategy. Reviewing and practicing basic facts continues to be important for many students. Please help us build confidence and skills with these by working with us at home!
We had Music with Mrs. Goodall's class in preparation for our school assembly next week. Our classes are doing such a great job!
