Today we began working on a storyboard for the story we will be sharing in March at the Storytelling Evening. We discussed the characters, setting, and beginning/middle/end of our story. Then this afternoon we worked with Mr. Stockton and learned about how to stay cool under pressure.

In Science we took notes while watching a short video about Inclined Planes. We learned about several examples of incline planes that are used in the world. Ask us to tell you about one or more!

In Math today we worked in groups on some different multiplication activities. Some of us worked on solving for a missing factor (7 x __ = 49), finding matching products in a puzzle game, and working with a multiplication chart to identify the 36 facts we need to know. Several students are bringing home some practice cards to review and practice these facts - please, please help them learn these!! Remember that practice could be drawing arrays or groups, and looking for examples in our world (eggs in a carton, windows on buildings, bags of apples etc).

Reminders:
- We will be outside if the temperature is warmer that -20 so send appropriate clothing
- Book orders due Monday
