Today we started our day working with our Storyboards. A few brave students told their stories to the class. We noticed we have a lot of work to do to be ready for our performance night next month. Next week we will all be brining home a retelling of our story that we have written. Please ask us to tell you our story and practice at home. We promise you won't get bored and it will not ruin the surprise!

This afternoon we worked on a build challenge using pulleys. We built devices that allowed us to move a note a distance of 3 meters. Lots of adaptations and team building were required to be successful.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
We are still seeking materials for an upcoming build challenge. Please send in as you gather so we can identify areas in need!

In math we worked on solving word problems and using at least 2 different strategies to prove our answer. Here is one for you to try at home:

There were 12 teams building pulley devices in Science. If each team passed 7 notes, how many notes were passed in Science using the pulley devices?

Reminders:
- Fun Lunch tomorrow
- Materials needed for science
- Storytelling Evenings March 13 & 14
