We worked in our Multiage groups - our grade 4's are great role models for our school :) Please return the blue/yellow sheet that was sent home yesterday so we can adjust groups as needed.
In Math we have been working on multiplying 3-digit by 1-digit numbers. We have been practicing using a variety of strategies to solve these types of questions and checking with another strategy so we can find one that works best for us and notice where we are making mistakes.
Mr. Stockton talked to us about the finger strategy again today and why it is an effective way for us to not get "stuck" when telling our stories. We will continue practicing with this at school (and at home please) so that we are ready for our Storytelling evening in 2 weeks.
In Social Studies we learned about some plants indigenous to Alberta and how they were/are used as medicines to help people.
Reminders:
- No school on Friday
- Storytelling Evening forms need to be returned ASAP
- Materials for our upcoming building project are needed
- 3 or more Volunteers for our April 4th Aggie Days field trip are needed
